Last
Monday was my first day with Heloisa ALL BY MYSELF. Ever since she was born,
Paulo or my Mom were always around.
We came home on Sunday. While we drove
home, I had a mild case of motion sickness, which is pretty common to happen,
when I am not driving.
On Monday morning, as Paulo left to work,
I started to feel a little headache. I took some Tylenol and I thought it would
go away soon.
As the hours progressed, the headache
turned into migraine. And when I say migraine, I mean I felt like a knife was
stuck in my right eye.
By 2pm, I had to call Paulo, for him to
come home and watch Heloisa. I couldn't see it anymore. I was completely blind
on my right eye. Can you believe it?
Heloisa felt something was off, because
she was screaming for a whole hour. I finally made her calm down and she slept.
I laid her down beside me on my bed and I slept too.
Paulo arrived home and he took care of her
for the rest of the afternoon while I slept.
By
7:00 pm, I woke up like nothing had happened. It was clearly lack of sleep.
When
I woke up, I made some chicken soup for dinner and I decided we need to
sleep train Heloisa.
My
biggest challenge was to be strong enough to follow some sleep training method
and put Paulo on board too.
I
hope y’all are having a blessed Holy Week.
