Last Saturday, I had my nutritionist again. I was pretty happy with what I found out. I lost 1,5 lbs of fat in three weeks and changed 2,5 lbs of fat in muscle.
I've been sticking with my exercise routine, which goes completely against what the gym instructors preach.
I really don't like weight lift. It is the perfect scenario for someone like me to quit the gym. So, I came up with a plan.
On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, I take Pilates Classes On Mondays and Tuesdays, I take an Air Climber class. On Thursdays, I take a Jump class. On Saturday, I take a belly d@nce class.
I feel like I am exercising all the time, but it is sure to show some results soon ; )
I am sorry if I've been MIA, but there is nothing really exciting going on around here and of course I am tired. I really don't know when this work madness will end. I hope it ends soon. We are having a quiet weekend due to Hubby's health. Do you remember when I wrote last week that he had a bad case of flu? Well, he didn't travel on Monday because he was feeling awful. But of course, he didn't go to the doctor. He traveled on Tuesday and he was feeling bad ALL WEEK LONG!!!! He came back home on Friday with red eyes, and a really bad cough. Yesterday, we argued all day about him going to the doctor. He didn't go. But today I won ; ) He went to the doctor and he has a severe sinus infection.....
If only he went to the doctor last week, he would be feeling much better today.
Ladies, tell me: are your husbands as stubborn as mine when it comes to go to the doctor?
The Brazil national football team represents Brazil in international football and is controlled by the Brazilian Football Confederation. They are the most successful national football team in the history of the World Cup, with five championships (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002). A common quip about football is: "The English invented it, the Brazilians perfected it.”
Currently ranked first by FIFA, Brazil is consistently among the strongest football nations by Elo Ratings and is the only team to have played in every World Cup.

Nickname
The Brazilian national team has many nicknames and is known in different parts of the world by different nicknames. The most common name used to refer to them, especially in Brazil, is A Seleção, which literally means the selection. Brazilians call any team from any country or sport a seleção and because of this it has become common for the national team to be referred to as the Seleção Brasileira or to more specifically refer to it, the Seleção Brasileira de Futebol. Although Brazilian media have popularized Seleção, other nicknames for them in Brazil include Canarinho, meaning Little Canary, a phrase that was popularized by the late cartoonist Fernando Pieruccetti during the 1950 World Cup. Other names like Amarelinha, Little Yellow, Verde-amarelo, Green-Yellow, Pentacampeão, Five-time Champions and Esquadrão de Ouro (the Golden Squad), among others. It can also be noted that American and British media outlets have referred to Brazil as the Auriverde, coming from the Portuguese words verde and amarela (or dourada) which mean green and yellow (or gold), but is not used in Brazil itself. Some English newspapers colloquially use the nickname "Samba Kings".
Last Wednesday, I participated on the Women in White event. I was invited by the beauty salon where I get my hair and nails done to participate.
They invited 150 customers to get makeup and hair done by their professionals and to make a photo shoot with a professional photographer. In August, when the salon celebrates its 10th anniversary, the pictures will be shown and it will a little party to all of the customers.
I chose 4 pictures on total, I bought three and the one that will be shown I will get as a gift from the salon in August.
When I got home, I took a few pictures of myself. They don’t do justice of how beautiful the makeup was.
Yes, this is how I spent my weekend. Since I am a little OCD when it comes to laundry and grocery shopping, I feel I can’t rest when it is all done. Every weekend feels that it takes longer to finish all my chores at the house. I think I am PLAIN tired.
I also know, I should spend the weekends resting, since I have been working around the clock and I have no control over my work load.
To top it all, Hubby has a bad case of flu : (
But I did something different; well I’ve been working on the photo frame project for over three weeks now. I have a lot of photo frames, but they don’t fit in this house anymore. There were perfect for our US apartment and our house in Bahia, but they don’t fit here AT ALL.
So, a few weeks ago I went to the craft store and bought all the tools I needed. I took with me my candle stick as inspiration and I just finished my first CRAFT project EVER!!! I still have tons of photo frames to work on, but I already have one ready ; )
