Hubby told me I would look like a fool if I told you about my fell.
But as Gabriela likes to write, I have to blog before I forget about it.
Last Thursday, on my lunch break, I went to Endossa to buy a birthday gift for Hubby's intern (since she invited us for the party). This cute store is like a real Etsy. You can find the most cute hand made/especial made gifts by real especial artists.
A co-worker and I had a lunch and on our way to the store, I stepped on a on a whole in the side walk and twisted my ankle.
Can you imagine a person felling in front of you and just rolling on the side walk?!?!? Well, that was me. I lost one of shoe, twisted one of my toes (don't ask how), tear one of my sleeves and two HUGE bruises on my two knees.
My purse slipped from my shoulder and ended up under a bus tire that was stopped due to a closed street sign. Luckily, my co-worker was with me and while she got my purse back, a gentleman helped me to get on my feet again.
Until now, I don't know how I didn't break anything and just ended with two huge bruises and some sore body.....
I hope you are having a great week ; )

Holes are not a good thing in side walks...
ResponderExcluirOkay if you look stupid... I fell down the starts at a store, my excuse is that the last step was an inch larger than the others... I went to my knees and "lay" ... knelt on the floor for ten minutes (in front of the only door into the store) on my elbows and knees with my butt up in the air my head down between my arms because it hurt so much I thought I was going to faint... I only twisted my ankle...
Then I missed seeing a stair and almost planted my nose in the side walk, but miss by a centimeter because I am strong. Bloody swollen knee, scraped hands and a rough spot on my ring where it scraped on the side walk.
Oh then I fell over a little girl who ran into me with I had my winter coat and graduation gown in my arms getting ready to graduate... Went to my hands and knees trying to NOT land on the three year old...
All of this within a year of moving to Savannah...
Hmmmm Love, Marilyn
oh my! So sorry. I HATE things like that. But, they do make for good blog fodder. :)
ResponderExcluirMy condolences to all of Brazil-we were sad. Except for my son who wants Dunga (sp?) to get fired.
