Just to keep you posted P@aulo is still at the hospital. He is supposed to be discharged this afternoon. the only thing, that I am not really happy about it, is he has some sort of a drain in his neck. And it is supposed to be there until next week.
As a reflection of the surgery, he is feelling a lot numbness on his face and on the right side of his body. The doctor said (and I googled ) this is normal to feel for a few days after the surgery.
The doctor said, as well, that the lump on the right side of his neck, had the size of an orange.
I am praying for his quick recover.

While P@ulo.....
... is in the OR, I am trying to keep my mind off the surgery.
So, I am spending my time working on my blog facelift that is really overdue.
Fabiola
PS.: It is 7:15pm and P@aulo is already back from surgery. The biopsy came out negative, which was expected, but it is always a great relieve to hear this again. He is really sore around his neck, but the recovery is going according to plan.

I will out of the circuit for a few days
Dear Blog Friends,
I will be out of the blog world for a few days, because my husband will have his thyroid removed tomorrow morning.
Keep us in your prayers.

I am so out of the blog world....
…. That it makes me nervous.
Well, first of all let me apologize for my absence, but I DO NOT have internet access at home. When we asked for the phone company and the other company whom provide High Speed Internet in São Paulo, we discovered that where we live there is NONE high speed infrastructure there. Sigh.
So, I might take a moment to explain, where I live, because it might sound I live in the country area.
Our new home is in the metro area of São Paulo. It is called Osasco. Osasco used to be a working class neighborhood, with low financial resources. A few years ago, the construction companies saw a housing opportunity and they developed two new areas inside Osasco, focusing on the green areas: Parque dos Principes (Princes Park) and Vila São Francisco (Saint Francis Village).
Our house belongs to Vila São Francisco. It is really a green area; you will never think you are so close to the concrete jungle as we really are. We live just across the street from a Golf Course and they have this amazing park only 2 blocks from our home which is amazing. I will take a few pictures the next time I go there. There is no car noises and street noises for that matter. You can even hear the birds in the background. When we drive towards to São Paulo (where we live, go to the mall and etc), we can see the color of the sky changing from bright blue to gray.
But as in all new areas there are a lack of infrastructure itens such as : high speed internet, big malls, and public transportation (this last one, it is said that to be on purpose, so only people in the same financial standard will live there).
So, there is a brief explanation for my absence and how we live down here.
Have a nice week,
Fabiola

We are getting there
If you haven´t seen a chaos picture in the past few months, welcome to my post!

Well, as per today, the situation is much better. We already have a kitchen, laundry room and living all set up (except for the dinner table glass). The movers broke it, so the company will replace it soon. Our bedroom is on its way to get together. As soon as I have all the rooms in order I will make a lot of new pictures to show you.

Now, I am off to pack my bag, because I am off to R*i*o tomorrow and I will be back by Friday.
Have a nice evening,

We are moved in !
Well, we finally had our things delivered on Saturday, because the moving company misunderstood the date. It was supposed to be on Friday. They smashed the glass of the dining table. Now we have to wait for them to replace it.
We have a chaos at the house; there are so many things to unpack, to wash and to iron later. I took a few pictures, but I left the camera at the house (we will be in the apartment until Tuesday).
But, in a few words, the kitchen, laundry room, the guest and main bathroom, and the master bedroom are completely furnished. What is left to do is organize!!
On the other hand, our dining and living room area…. Look like a dorm room.
We will buy new furniture soon, but for now it is just weird. The reason why this happened is our old house in Bahia was bigger than the new house. So, we just have to switch from 2 living rooms and 1 dining room to 1 living room and 1 dining room. As soon as I don´t have only boxes there, I will take a few pictures and post here.
I will crawl in my bed, because we will have an unpacking day tomorrow again.
Love,
Fabiola
