End of the year craziness

Apart from the craziness that December brings to our personal lives, it brings craziness to our professional lives.
All the major companies suffer from the SAME problem. They hold their budget really tight all year long and in December they should spend their entire budget. After all on the midnight stroke on January 1st, the budget will evaporate and they will have a new number to work with.
So they decide to schedule completely unnecessary meetings that make me go on a day trip to R*i*o de Janeiro (like tomorrow). They decide that it is the perfect timing to develop a new Report for the system and has to be delivered before Christmas of course. They schedule training that they are holding back since June.
Apart from that and a really sick husband (cold and 101.4 ° Fever and “I am not going to the Doctor attitude”), I am totally ready for Christmas ; )
